Clean Pad Drop Error Abnormality

Pin-Jet helped the customer determine the reason for the abnormality

The customer gave the feedback that the clean pad would not fall after the vacuum in the NEST was broken; after confirmation by Pin-Jet, it was found that there was inverted round corners inside the NEST, but the clean pad had a right-angle exterior, which caused interference.

Problem Confirmation

Clean Pad Clamp

※ The Clean Pad originally had a right-angle design

and therefore interfered with the Clamp R angle;
currently there are wears and tears.

Actual size 15.57 x 15.57mm 15.71 x 15.72mm
Conclusion The Clean Pad Lid is a right angle and the Clamp Lid is a R angle; they do not match and therefore when lowered for cleaning, the clean pad gets stuck in the clamp and cannot be lowered. It is recommended to change the design of the Clean Pad Lid to improve the current problem.

Verification conclusion Before modification, the clean pad got stuck in the clamp and cannot be lowered when trying to lower it for cleaning. After modification, the Clean Pad Lid was changed to rounded corners, and the samples all worked normally after verifying the modification.
